Quick Noodle Stir Fry.

Quick Stir FryWell not only was the Stir Fry quick, I did the same with photographing it.  Not the best shot and it was taken at night, which means using a flash and I really don’t like the extra gloss that has been added to the noodles.  Oh well!! I managed to get a pic at least.

Lets talk about the dish now. It’s one of those quick throw together dishes. As I had mentioned in an earlier post I’d bought some fresh noodles at and Asian Grocery store. I had cooked the whole batch, using only half earlier and used the rest on Sunday.

This was ready in under 15 min. I guess I was in a mood for a quick meal too.  I also like the meal because it caters for the whole family’s tastes, and I can get Aditya to try a new vegetable or two this way. He is still not too fond of  the sweet peas or the watercress but does enjoy the baby corn, carrots and broccoli in the dish.

Quick Stir Fry Noodles

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked Noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed stir fry vegetables
  • 1/2  cup Kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 1/2 cup fried tofu squares
  • 1 tbsp soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan and cook the sausage well.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste along with the vegetables and cook for a few min.
  • Season with salt.
  • Next add the noodles and soy sauce and toss well.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

  • The soy sauce is salty so go easy on the salt.
  • Cook noodles according to the package directions. Fresh noodles don’t take more and 2-3 min and dried noodles take between 5 – 10 min depending on type and thickness.
