This is a very simple french toast style recipe.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 slices bread
- salt to taste
Method
- Combine the eggs and milk in a wide shallow dish.
- Dip a slice of bread in the egg and milk mixture, making sure it is coated evenly on both sides.
- Cook in a well greased pan.
- repeat for remaining slices.
- serve hot
Note:
- Can be served with syrup or jelly too.
- depending on the type of bread used and the size of eggs there might be some extra mixture left. I usually pour the remaining mixture over the last slice or make a min omelet with it.
